The highly empathetic care staff at Loxley Chase Care Home are both welcoming and caring, but most of all, they are experienced, highly trained, and knowledgeable. We vet our staff to make sure they have high levels of expertise and proficiency, and have the adaptability to provide the elder care needs of residents.

This means that we are able to provide a high level of residential dementia care, elder care, respite care, and more for our residents, and it’s something we’ve been doing for years as a UK nursing home.

Social Care

All of our care home managers are highly qualified, which gives you the peace of mind and confidence that Loxley is not only run effectively, but that our residents are in a safe space, being offered the absolute best service within a luxurious and person-centred environment.

Loxley Chase Care Home is family-ran and owned by Angela and George Dixon. Angela is an experienced care home professional, having worked in the field of nursing for many years. She previously headed an acute service at James Cook University Hospital, where she developed respiratory teams as a key aspect of her duties. She was also Matron of Acute Medicine, and has an amazing 27 years’ experience in Nursing Care, also holding a senior position managing health facilities. Together, Angela and George have been managing nursing homes and care homes for ten years. This includes running four residential care homes in Middlesbrough.

But it doesn’t stop at our care staff or managers because from top to bottom, our care home staff are the best of the best. We have an experienced chef-led catering team which is flexible around the needs of residents, and each member of the team actively aims to meet specific dietary requirements and individual likes or dislikes, wherever possible. Meals can even be served in residents’ own rooms if required, which helps to make up our eclectic range of rest home services that we provide to our residents at Loxley Chase Care Home.
